It began as a humble yet tongue-in-cheek poke at art months but is slowly blossoming into something very nice indeed.
A placement during 3rd year of University hosted by Lecturer and Designer Jean Michel Raad. We were tasked with conceptualizing and realising designs for a promotional piece for Coventry University's Art & design department. The chosen direction of the project was based off my concepts which focused on bio-mechanical creatures. Eventually the Dragonfly, Scorpion and Chameleon were three creatures selected and the team was split into 3 sub teams focusing on each creature, I was subsequently placed on the dragonfly team. A great experience overall with some potent creativity throughout.
A year long placement at Bhamra Video Company which specialized in videography and photography for weddings. My role was to help facilitate a new menu system using the Adobe Master Suite on Blu-Ray editions for clients. I also had the opportunity to create concepts for a new menu and intro for a bespoke version of the Blu-Ray editions to be made available for clients. Working towards extremely tight deadlines and managing a heavy workload were necessary requirements has offered me the opportunity to mature as a professional in a high pressure environment.
