The 'UPA' was envisaged as a non-invasive method for users to wear prosthetics and also allow for customisability. The adapter grips any area and 3D prints a web that grips the body part - simultaneously connecting to the nervous system for control. After this, any compatible attachment will work. This has resulted in many variants from budget limbs to high-end designer wear. This particular model is the equivalent of someone buying an iPhone 4 in 2018.
